My name is James and I have created this webpage to share a bit about myself.

ΔWhy Am I Interested In Coding?Δ

I've done block-coding since I was in 3rd Grade. It allows you to see the cause and effect relationship between the different blocks in your code and in the order things occur. However, I never done actual coding, but I've always been interested in it. This class has allowed me to explore HTML and I will continue coding even after this trimester is over because I really enjoy it.

♥Hobbies & Interests♥

Like many people, I have several hobbies and interests. Here are my top three hobbies and/or interests:

• Reading: I love to read and I particually enjoy medivial fantasy and, by contrast, science fiction. Right now, I am currently reading The Lord of the Rings series by J.R.R. Tolkien.
• Walks: I have recently been going on a 2.5 mile walk in the late afternoon and early evenings as a way to unwind. It calms me down and it's healthy.
• Video Games: I, like most teens, like video games. My favorite video game is Minecraft.

♠Future Goals♠

I plan to go to College somewhere in Michigan. It does not really matter to me what college I go to, but I would like to enroll in a college near here so I can stay near my family. I don't know for 100% what major I want to do. I want to take a few more electives here at Holly High School before I make up my mind. However, it would most likely be a Bachelor's Degree and not anything higher, because a Master's or Graduate is a lot more college and a lot more money. Unrelated, I would also like to get a pet cat, because cats are the best pets.

♣Fun Facts♣

• I have a Summer Birthday on July 29th. When it rolls around after this school year ends, I will be 18.
• I have a twin brother, Nick, who is only one minute older than me. Despite that, he brings it up constantly as a way to boss me around.
• I am and have been taking several AP Courses. I took AP US History last year, and am taking AP Language and AP Government this year. I plan to take AP Literature next year too.
